I've been around music and film my whole life, and love watching and reading about all of the action backstage and behind the scenes.

From the independent film producer who has to make his or her day despite inclement weather, to the guitar tech changing the umpteenth set of strings on the bus at 2 AM, I'm fascinated by these people and their stories.

If you've ever wondered who some of those people are in the long list of credits at the end of a movie and how they got there, or who those sweaty folks in black T-shirts are doing on-stage before a concert or what the hell a record producer actually does, then this podcast is for you.
Thanks for listening.

Trace Davis is the owner and founder of Voodoo Amps, one of the premiere, boutique amplifier companies of it’s kind.

Driven by an unrelenting quest for the perfect guitar tone, Trace seeks to free his artists from distraction by “crafting more flexible and reliable ways to achieve great tone with vintage tones as well as high gain while always maintaining articulation and definition at all times.”

A native of Ithaca, NY, Trace has well over two decades of experience as an engineer, a session player, and a producer.

These are just some of the artists who use and endorse Voodoo Amps: Aerosmith, AC/DC, Ani DiFranco, Blackberry Smoke, Danzig, Dinosaur Jr., Five Finger Death, Guns N' Roses, Joe Bonamassa, Whitesnake, Widespread Panic, and ZZ Top.
